- The emotional and physical distress
is so marked that the patient often thinks that he or
she is suffering from a serious physical disease.
- It may be associated with physical symptoms like palpitations, insomnia, tremors, sweating, rapid breathing, frequent urination or defecation, tension, headaches, loss of appetite, general tension of the muscles.
